Struggling with Food and ADHD? You’re in the Right Place.

Discover how intuitive eating for ADHD adults and neurodiversity-affirming coaching can help you build a peaceful, sustainable relationship with food.

If you feel out of control around food and like no one truly understands how ADHD impacts your eating habits — you're not alone. Whether you've tried meal plans, macros, or mindset work with little success, it can feel like nothing sticks.

Maybe your medication suppresses your appetite during the day, only for you to end up binge eating at night.

Or perhaps you're eating constantly just to give your brain the stimulation and dopamine it craves. When executive function struggles make meal planning, prep, or even remembering to eat impossible, no amount of “trying harder” will solve it.

That’s where I come in. I specialize in helping ADHD adults ditch the guilt and build a more peaceful relationship with food through intuitive eating, practical tools, and neurodiversity-affirming principles designed specifically for your brain.

Hi I’m Becca — ADHD Dietitian, Author, and Intuitive Eating Counselor.

Hey ADHDer — I’m Becca! As a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified intuitive eating counselor who also has ADHD, I specialize in helping adults with ADHD heal their relationship with food, break free from the ADHD binge-restrict cycle, and feel confident feeding themselves — all without shame, diets, or overwhelm.

I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to manage eating with ADHD. Between impulsivity, decision fatigue, forgetfulness, dopamine-driven cravings, and societal pressure to “eat perfectly,” food can feel like a full-time job. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

My approach combines intuitive eating principles with strategies tailored specifically for ADHD brains. Together, we’ll explore what truly feels good for your body and mind, discover flexible, ADHD-friendly tools that fit your lifestyle, and ditch the rigid diet rules that never worked for you anyway. I’ll help you take the stress out of eating with practical, realistic tools — like building a personalized toolkit to manage dopamine needs, planning ahead without burnout, and learning to feed yourself without guilt, restriction, or shame.

My Journey (and Why I Do This Work)

I could “eat perfectly” all day (read: restrict), but once my ADHD meds wore off, I’d binge eat. I blamed myself for lacking willpower, tried calorie counting, detoxes, food rules, cutting out sweets — but nothing changed.

But I quickly saw that focusing on weight wasn’t helping my patients' relationship with food— especially if they were neurodivergent folks. It often added confusion, shame, and disordered eating.

It wasn’t until I began learning how ADHD impacts hunger cues, fullness signals, and executive function that I unlocked the missing piece.

That understanding helped me adapt the Intuitive Eating framework in a way that finally felt doable for my ADHD brain — and that’s exactly what I help my clients do now.

After earning my bachelor’s in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and my Master’s in Human Nutrition from Winthrop University, I worked in a weight loss clinic. But I quickly saw that focusing on weight wasn’t helping — especially for neurodivergent folks. It often added more confusion, more shame, and more disordered eating.

That’s why I founded ADHD Nutritionist LLC — a neurodiversity-affirming virtual nutrition practice focused on helping ADHD adults feel calm, confident, and nourished, not perfect.

Why I Care Deeply About Helping You

I know how isolating it can feel when you’re stuck in the binge-restrict cycle or constantly stressed about food decisions. I know what it’s like to feel guilt for eating "too much," shame for not being able to stick to your latest diet plan, or frustration that even the “healthy” things you try don’t seem to work for your brain.

And I want you to know: you are not broken. You are not alone. And you don’t have to fix your ADHD with food.

That’s why I created my coaching programs, my book, and everything I share online — to help ADHD adults like you stop fighting food and start trusting your body again. Whether you join my Intuitive Eating for ADHD Small Group Program, work with me 1:1, or just read my book, I’ll meet you where you are with compassion, support, and accountability.

You deserve food freedom. You deserve peace. And I’m here to help you find it — in a way that works for you.
