ADHD Specific FAQs
-
That’s exactly why I started ADHD Nutritionist. ADHD makes it hard to stick to rigid plans — so we focus on flexible structure, compassionate accountability, and building habits that work with your brain, not against it.
-
You won’t be “behind” — ever. Group calls are recorded, and you’ll still have access to our community support in between. We expect life (and executive dysfunction) to happen. You’ll always be welcomed back without guilt or shame.
-
Yes! You’ll get reminders for group calls, and I offer several supports to help you stay engaged in a way that works for your brain:
Email and text reminders for calls
Session recaps so you don’t have to take notes (unless you want to)
Written materials you can skim — no pressure to read everything cover-to-cover
Flexible ways to participate — we use a private Facebook group for communication, and you're welcome to interact through posts, comments, reactions, or just follow along quietly
Cameras off? Totally fine. Stimming, fidgets, pacing around during calls? Also welcome here
This space is designed with neurodivergent brains in mind — you don’t need to mask or push through burnout to feel supported.

You’re not alone. Many people with ADHD find traditional intuitive eating challenging due to executive dysfunction, impulsivity, or sensory needs. This program adapts intuitive eating with ADHD-friendly structure, strategies, and support to help it finally click.
-
Yes, absolutely. Binge eating is actually one of the most common struggles my clients face. I’ve personally struggled with binge eating and the challenges ADHD brings, like forgetting to eat and seeking out salty, crunchy foods for stimulation. Traditional intuitive eating advice can feel overwhelming or out of reach for neurodivergent brains. That’s why I’ve adapted intuitive eating principles with practical strategies and compassion specifically for ADHD — so you can build trust with your hunger cues, reduce binge episodes, and create eating habits that truly work for you.

Our ADHD nutrition coaching services are for adults with ADHD (formal diagnosis not required) who want a more peaceful, sustainable relationship with food. Whether you're struggling with binge eating, emotional eating, or stuck in the diet cycle, you’ll find ADHD-friendly, non-diet support that meets you where you are.
-
No. My services follow a non-diet approach focused on helping you heal your relationship with food and build trust with your body. Weight loss is not the goal, and we don’t use restrictive rules or calorie counting.
That said, it’s okay if you have mixed feelings about your body or still wish it were different — that’s a valid part of the process. I focus on supporting your well-being without making weight the measure of success.
-
Absolutely — we work with your individual needs, preferences, and sensitivities. The goal is to make eating doable and nourishing for you, not to force a one-size-fits-all plan.
-
Traditional nutrition often relies on rigid meal plans, calorie tracking, or unrealistic expectations. ADHD nutrition coaching is built around flexibility, fostering autonomy, and support for executive function.
-
No diagnosis needed! If you relate to ADHD traits affecting your eating, you’re welcome here.
-
Absolutely! This program is designed with mental health and eating challenges in mind and offers compassionate, ADHD-friendly support. Sometimes folks need a higher level of care, and if that’s the case, I’ll gently let you know during our discovery call and help you find the right resources. It’s not a replacement for therapy, but can complement it.

I don’t accept insurance directly at this time. However, I can accept HSA or FSA and I’m happy to provide superbills or detailed invoices if you'd like to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance provider.
If you're unsure whether your plan offers reimbursement for nutrition counseling, I recommend checking with your insurance company in advance.

Because of the personalized nature of coaching and limited spots, I generally do not offer refunds once you’ve enrolled. That said, I understand life happens — if you have a serious unforeseen circumstance (like a medical emergency), please reach out and we can discuss options on a case-by-case basis.
My goal is to support you with kindness and flexibility wherever possible.
